When in a large room, make the space more intimate by moving the presenter’s chairs closer to the panel, ideally no more than 10 feet away. Sometimes where the projection screen is will dictate how you must set up. This is why it is a good idea to have a portable screen which enables you to set up the room any way you want.
When using a portable screen, try to set it slightly off to the side rather than smack dab in the center of the room. When the screen is center stage, it, and not your presenters become the selection panel’s focal point. We want them to spend more time connecting with your people rather than looking at slides.
